Reprogrammer_README 100-ITN003784-D01 The executable file contained in this file archive will reprogram your TSI Compact Scientific camera with the latest released versions of firmware. There are unique executable files specific to each camera model type: CS2100.exe programs CS2100M-USB CS135.exe programs CS135MU and CS135CU CS135MUN.exe programs CS135MUN CS235.exe programs CS235MU and CS235CU CS505.exe programs CS505MU and CS505CU CS505MUP.exe programs CS505MUP CS895.exe programs CS895MU and CS895CU CS126.exe programs CS126MU and CS126CU CC215.exe programs CC215MU CC505.exe programs CC505MU CC895.exe programs CC895MU BC207.exe programs BC207VIS and BC207VIS/M Beam Profiler Cameras RA895.exe programs the RA895 Raman Spectrometer Procedure: 1) Place the appropriate Reprogrammer executable file on the desktop of a computer that has been used to operate your TSI Compact Scientific camera, ensuring that all of the necessary drivers already exist on the machine. 2) Connect your TSI Compact Scientific camera to a USB3.0 port of this computer. Please connect only ONE camera at-a-time. 3) Double-click on the Reprogrammer executable "Cowboy Boot" icon to start the program. 4) Select your camera in the first screen by clicking on the line it is listed on. 5) Press the "Update" button. 6) DO NOT disconnect your camera until prompted to do so. 7) All cameras require a power cycle during the program process, it is part of the process so watch or listen for the prompt. 8) Depending on your CS2100M-USB hardware version the process may take approximately 3 minutes to approximately 8 minutes. Allother models models will generally take approximately 3 minutes. 9) If your camera is already up to date with a particular version of the reprogrammer you will be prompted accordingly and the process can be terminated by clicking on the X close button in the upper right corner. 10) A successful update is indicated by a Yellow status LED changing BLUE shortly after a power cycle. If the status LED remains Yellow please rerun the Reprogrammer application - taking care to not disconnect unless prompted or close the application prior to completion. 11) If the USB3 cable is disconnected or power is lost to the camera during the process, please close the application, cycle power to the camera, and restart the application. REVISION INFORMATION: Date: Thu 08/26/2021 - MODEL:CS135*UN. 66-ITN004223-BIN, V1.0.17, MCU 65-ITN004222-BIN, 0x5033, FPGA 65-ITN004222-32A, 0x5033, FPGA 66-ITN002826-IMG, V0.1.21, FX3 66-ITN003155-BIN, V0.1.9, REC - Release Notes for Kiralux Compact Scientific Camera Firmware V1.0.17 - Updates 08/15/2021 Summary: 1) CS235xU, CS135xU Only. Firmware update fixes SFR parameter initialization error. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- V1.0.15 - Updates 07/06/2021 Summary: 1) CS505MUP Only. Firmware update corrects a bug that caused polarity angles to be reported incorrectly. 2) CS505xU, CS895xU, CS135xU frame-rate increase. 3) CS126xU minor bug fixes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V1.0.10 - Updates 05/19/2021 Summary: 1) CS126MU, CS126CU Only. Firmware upgrade increases full-frame ROI frame rate to 21.7 fps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V1.0.8 - Updates 03/02/2021 Summary: 1) The reported frametime parameter was double the exposure time, in nframes > 0 mode only, and only on 5MP, 8.9MP, and 12MP models. That had the effect of causing the host system to wait too long for a frame to complete. The frametime parameter is now equal to exposure time plus readout time. 2) Fixed a Frame Rate Control bug where the maximum fps rate was not being updated correctly when the roi is changed. Only on 5MP, 8.9MP, and 12MP models. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V1.0.7 - Updates 02/10/2021 Summary: 1) Added new models. 2) Added new internal commands. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V1.0.6 - Updates 11/10/2020 Summary: 1) Enabled Frame-Rate Control Support in conjunction with ThorCam and SDK. 2) Fixed bug: In nframes=0 mode and maximum exposure time, first frame took 3x too long to deliver from camera. 3) Fixed bug: In nframes>0 modes and maximum exposure time, actual exposure time was in micro-seconds, not 10s of seconds as it should have been. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V0.9.3 - Initial Production Release
